We’re almost there, I’ve really noticed the growing moon in the daytime sky this past week. It will ripen to complete fullness early on Monday morning 25th March, when it will also be slightly veiled by the earth’s shadow in a penumbral eclipse not visible from the UK, as the moon will be below the horizon at that time. However, if you live in an eastern country you may actually be able to see it.
I suggested last time that we might want to reflect on what brightens and gladdens our minds during this time, and what we could help bring to light - either literally or metaphorically - in the world immediately around us. Did anything occur to any of you? This full moon is in Libra, the zodiac sign of balance - connected also with the recent Spring Equinox, when for a while day and night will be of the same length - and in the UK the clocks will spring forward to summer time this weekend. SoI look forward to any musings (in the comments below or on our chat thread) you may want to share in words or pictures on holding light and darkness in creative balance with each other. I might light a little dusk bonfire with my springtime gardening prunings on Sunday or Monday evening - tempestuous elements permitting - bringing that question to mind.
I too am having spring hail and snow the next few days.
